ALBUQUERQUE—Congresswoman Melanie Stansbury (NM-01) released the following statement after President Biden’s call for an end to the war in Israel and Gaza: 

"I am deeply horrified by and I unequivocally condemn the attacks on civilians in Rafah over the last several days. 

Prime Minister Netanyahu and his military leadership have shown a blatant disregard for civilian life and have clearly and repeatedly crossed the red line. Further incursions into Rafah must stop immediately.

"Donald Trump is guilty. Today, he learned that no one is above the law.

"Never in American history has a U.S. president been convicted of a felony offense. Today, a Manhattan jury found Donald Trump guilty of 34 felony counts of fraud.  

WASHINGTON—This week, U.S. Representative Melanie Stansbury (NM-01) proposed several concepts for new legislation that would support Tribal law enforcement agencies across the country.

Both are awardees of federal funding from FY24.

The independent non-profit foundation was created through the bipartisan Partnerships for Energy Security and Innovation Act; Congresswoman Stansbury’s first piece of legislation in the House of Representatives.
