ALBUQUERQUE—Representative Melanie Stansbury (NM-01) held a press conference today to address the looming government shutdown. Federal funding is set to expire at midnight on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Without passage of a funding bill or short-term Continuing Resolution, a shutdown will begin at 12:01 AM on Wednesday, October 1.
