Rep. Stansbury Announced as Task Force Co-Chair for Democratic Women’s Caucus
WASHINGTON– Today, the Democratic Women’s Caucus (DWC) in the U.S. House of Representative announced their new leadership slate for the 118th Congress, naming U.S. Representative Melanie Stansbury (N.M.-01) as Co-Chair for Member Services.
Rep. Stansbury joins a leadership team that will play a prominent role in fostering and advancing women’s leadership in the 118thCongress. The 118th Congress includes a record-breaking number of Democratic women serving in the House of Representatives—including 94 Democratic members, with 16 newly elected this cycle. This Democratic Women’s Caucus is also the most diverse in history.
