Rep. Stansbury Statement on Trump's Third Set of Indictments

WASHINGTON—Today, Rep. Melanie Stansbury (D-NM) issued the following statement after former President Donald Trump’s third indictment:
Today’s indictment is an important step towards real accountability. Donald Trump must be held accountable for his efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election, disrupting the peaceful transfer of power, and his involvement in abetting the most serious attack on our Democracy since its founding. I have said it once and I’ll say it again: no one is above the law, not even the former president.
As this case proceeds, it is critical justice is served.
